Data collected

The app collects Apple or Google account identifiers, name, email when provided; profile details, relationship context, boundaries, preferences, city, bio, interests, topic tags, invitations, conversations, messages, blocks, reports, moderation status, sessions, subscription entitlement status, and operational quota counters. Uploaded profile photos and photo reveal requests are disabled in version 1.

How data is used

Data is used to authenticate users, show profiles in discovery, create invitation-based conversations and message threads, operate reporting and blocking, filter objectionable wording, process account deletion, support moderation, and keep infrastructure usage within configured guardrails.

Sharing

Data is not sold. Authentication uses Sign in with Apple and Google OAuth. Version 1 does not include third-party advertising SDKs or third-party tracking SDKs.

User controls

Users can update profiles, block users, report safety concerns, sign out, and delete their account in the app.

Photos and messages

Uploaded photos, original-photo reveal, and image messages are disabled in version 1. Messaging is text-only in version 1 and is available only inside accepted conversations.

Device privacy

Local Face ID or passcode checks happen on the device before opening discreet controls. Biometric data does not leave your device.

Account deletion

Users can delete their account in the app from Safety. Deletion anonymizes the account, revokes sessions, cancels pending invitations, closes conversations, hides messages, and removes profile visibility, subject to safety, abuse-prevention, moderation, and legal retention needs.
