Eligibility

Kindred Private is for adults 18 years or older. The app uses Sign in with Apple or Google; it does not offer SMS login, password login, or anonymous chat in version 1.

Acceptable use

Users must not post or send illegal, abusive, threatening, harassing, exploitative, underage, pornographic, prostitution-related, trafficking-related, paid sexual-service, spam, scam, or impersonation content. Users must respect stated boundaries. Messaging is available only after an invitation is accepted.

Photo privacy

Uploaded photos, image messages, and original-photo reveal are disabled in version 1. If photo storage is enabled in a later version, additional photo privacy controls will apply.

Safety actions

Kindred Private may remove content, suspend accounts, cancel invitations, close conversations, or restrict access after reports, blocks, moderation review, quota abuse, or Terms violations.

Reports and blocking

Users can report content or behavior and block other users. Blocking hides both users from each other, cancels pending invitations, and closes any active conversation.

No guarantee of matches

Kindred Private does not guarantee matches, meetings, relationships, or compatibility.

Account deletion

Users can delete their account in the app. Some safety, fraud-prevention, legal, or moderation records may be retained as required or permitted.

Service availability

Features may throttle, pause, or enter read-only mode to protect service reliability and user safety.
